Applications for Locum Consultants in Anaesthesia

 

We are looking for a Locum Consultant to join the Anaesthetics team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust based at St Mary’s Hospital.

 

St Mary’s Hospital is the regional trauma centre for North-West London and has a wide case mix including vascular surgery, bariatric surgery, paediatric surgery, general surgery, ENT and urology.

 

The job is paid as 10 PA’s per week, 9.0 DCC and 1.0 SPA. The successful applicant may be required to join a 1:10 on-call rota at St Mary’s Hospital.

Senior Clinical Fellowships

We offer 6 or 12 month Clinical Fellowships in Trauma, Regional, Vascular, Bariatric and/or Upper GI anaesthesia based at St Mary's. These posts are suitable for anaesthetists with FRCA or equivalent qualification.

St Mary's is a Major Trauma Centre, a tertiary referral centre for Vascular surgery & has a well established Bariatric unit performing 600-750 Bariatric surgeries per year.

The fellowships have dedicated non-clinical time and include a 1:8 on-call commitment. Previous fellows have completed research projects, contributed to national guidelines & gone onto gain substantive consultant posts.
