Applications for Trust Grade Senior House Officer (CT2 or above)
We are looking for a Trust Grade Senior House Officer in Anaesthesia (CT2 or above) to join the team from August 2018.
The post is appropriate for anyone who has completed 12 months of anaesthesia. Initially, the successful candidate will be part of the CT1/2 rota (1:8). However, any grade of anaesthetist from CT2 up to ST7 can be incorporated due to the flexible nature of the work and rotas.
Whilst you are here we can help with preparation for Primary FRCA if needed and any outstanding units of training to complete core training. Previous candidates have successfully gone on to join ST3 training rotations.

Senior Clinical Fellowships
We offer 6 or 12 month Clinical Fellowships in Trauma, Regional, Vascular, Bariatric and/or Upper GI anaesthesia based at St Mary's. These posts are suitable for anaesthetists with FRCA or equivalent qualification.
St Mary's is a Major Trauma Centre, a tertiary referral centre for Vascular surgery & has a well established Bariatric unit performing 600-750 Bariatric surgeries per year.
The fellowships have dedicated non-clinical time and include a 1:8 on-call commitment. Previous fellows have completed research projects, contributed to national guidelines & gone onto gain substantive consultant posts.
