Applications for Locum Consultants in Anaesthesia

 

St Mary’s Hospital is the regional trauma centre for North-West London and has a wide case mix including vascular surgery, bariatric surgery, paediatric surgery, general surgery, plastic surgery & opthalmology.

 

Locum consultant posts are typically 10 PA’s per week, 9.0 DCC and 1.0 SPA and may be required to join a 1:10 on-call rota at St Mary’s Hospital.

Senior Clinical Fellowships

We offer 6 or 12 month Clinical Fellowships in Trauma, Regional, Vascular, Bariatric and/or Upper GI anaesthesia based at St Mary's. These posts are suitable for anaesthetists with FRCA or equivalent qualification.

St Mary's is a Major Trauma Centre, a tertiary referral centre for Vascular surgery& has a well established Bariatric unit performing 600-750 Bariatric surgeries per year.

The fellowships have dedicated non-clinical time and include a 1:8 on-call commitment. Previous fellows have completed research projects, contributed to national guidelines & gone onto gain substantive consultant posts.
